Leader: Alan Palestine Activities@EvergreenNewcomers.com Sporting Clays are a shotgun sport where moving clay targets are shot. Each sporting clay course differs in design, but all involve moving among multiple shooting stations. Gun rentals and golf carts are available at most ranges, if needed; 12 or 20 gauge shotguns are recommended. This is a non-competitive group where everyone shoots for their own goals. The average cost is $40 for 100 targets, although you can choose to shoot more or fewer targets since each shooter pays for only the targets shot. Each shooter brings their own ammunition.
