[email protected] MAH JONGG is a very exciting tile game that has been played for over 200 years since the Qing Dynasty. It is a game of skill, strategy and calculation, and is also imbued with a certain level of chance. We play American style. Traditionally it has been played by women, but our game has a twist as we also offer the game to men. Currently we have 4-5 male participants. OBJECT: Currently half of our group are advanced beginners and half are intermediate. Typically we have more than one table filled according to skill level. We usually offer lessons to beginners in the fall after the September kickoff event. We also welcome experienced players who are looking for a friendly, recreational group. The leader will supply the latest card to anyone at the cost of $15 per card. DAY, TIME & PLACE: We play Monday evenings at 6:30pm at the leader's house down Kerr Gulch Road in Evergreen. REFRESHMENTS; None required. The leader supplies tea (or coffee) and dessert. NOTIFICATION; Please call or email the leader if you have an interest in joining us.
