Activities @EvergeenNewcomers.com This Midweek IKON Skiing Activity Group is organized depending on group interest and availability. Looking to restart the ski group possibly a fixed Tuesday or Thursday, weekly ski group leaving from the Bergen Park RTD park & ride area (to car pool) at 7:30 AM going to various IKON Resorts from December to March. Knowing that there are likely varying skill levels, group members should be OK with breaking off as needed/desired and meeting up for lunch. I personally am an intermediate skier, accustomed to skiing alone sometimes, when my more expert family members want to ski on harder terrain. We can share the lead or work with someone else who would like to have a similar group going to EPIC Resorts on the opposite day. You don't need to be an Olympic athlete, just want to get out early for fresh tracks, deep powder, moguls and a mix of exercise and socializing. There are wonderful ski areas to visit; the best skiing in the world is right here in Colorado. We will start with Tuesday or Thursday trips with the option to adjust for snow days/conditions, and member interest requests, depending on group interest and availability. We will email and confirm weekly target destinations in advance as weather & snow conditions become clear. We will try to get out early on weekdays to miss traffic and get fresh tracks.
