FAQs

Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ page). Below, we have tried to answer the most common questions visitors to our Web site may have. If you find that your question is not answered on this page, please e-mail the Webmaster.

What is the Evergreen Newcomers Club?

The Evergreen Newcomers Club is a nonprofit club with membership open to everyone, including both newcomers and established residents of Evergreen and surrounding communities. Evergreen Newcomers provides opportunities for new, and not so new, residents to meet friends and help make the Evergreen area feel like home.

Who belongs to Evergreen Newcomers Club?

We have families with young children, families with older children in high school or college, empty-nesters, single people, retired couples, full-time working couples, couples with a stay-at-home mom, and families who have lived abroad. Due to our diverse membership, we schedule activities for both weekdays and weeknights as well as weekends.

May I “try out” an activity before joining?

Certainly! You are more than welcome to attend an activity prior to joining.

Are there dues?

Yes. Annual dues are only $25 per family, including Mountain Messages! Our membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. Dues are reduced by half for members joining for the first time on February 1st or later.

How do I join?

Just complete your membership form and send it, along with your $25 membership dues, to the address listed on the membership form. If you have any questions call the Membership Chairman.
